Before and after: Bottom wall could not be opened. So a false front built out in the middle and made up of drawer and door fronts with fluted columns was made to give the look of a full unit. walls had added wainscotting 36" high from the floor and wrapped around the room. A small section left of unit. Now only if people would stop trying to open those doors and drawers.

A stained maple unit floor to ceiling, was built to match a bar on the other side of room (not shown). But really.... it did match. I'm not kidding

This unit was made with a thermofoil exterior. Left and right of center are 4" high floating shelves. That picture in the middle was actually the TV. We suggested that it messed up the look and we would remove the set for them. but they insisted it looked better in their house than it would in mine.
